Our Story
Born from a dream….
A dream to establish an eco-camp to give back to the community and contribute to conservation of the incredible and fragile Mara eco system. Praba and Antony dreamt of a sustainable haven where you can experience wild, yet luxury stay. And it was from this dream, they founded Il Muran Lentim eco-camp. A business partnership was established to make this dream a reality. They wanted Il Muran Lentim eco-camp to be a place where you not only connect with nature, but also appreciate the interconnected of all species and learn about the ways Maasai have lived in harmony with nature for centuries while understanding the importance of protecting places like Maasai Mara.

After spending a lot of time in Maasai Mara, Praba fell in love with the land, biodiversity of life in the Mara and the incredibly kind and proud Maasai. Praba has a rich background in hotel management, travel and passionate about conservation.
Antony was born and bred in the Mara. Like Praba, Antony's heart beats for Maasai Mara, his beloved home. He is also an avid conservationist and a talented tour guide.
Antony has an uncanny ability to spot wildlife. Antony also enjoys showing the flora and fauna of his beloved Mara as our head tour guide.
We offer all the necessary comforts for our guests to enjoy the drama, beauty, and magic of Maasai Mara. In addition, our team strives to create memorable experiences for our guests throughout their stay.
“Il Muran Lentim” means 'wildlife warriors' in the Maa language of the Maasai community. This name befits our brand identity as the Maasai people are the true guardians of wildlife.

Il Muran Lentim eco-camp sits right on the border of Maasai Mara. As a result, Il Muran Lentim eco-camp offers uninterrupted views of the breathtaking Maasai Mara. It is only 30 minutes drive from Ol Kiombo airstrip and only 10 minutes from Talek Gate in Maasai Mara.
The dining room overlooks the beautiful sceneries of the Mara wildlife. You can also enjoy sundowners while enjoying the beautiful sunsets in Maasai Mara. We also serve breakfast and lunch in the bush for a truly wild experience in the Mara. The eco-camp is a hub for nature photographers, wildlife and culture enthusiasts.
The True Wild Experience
We share our home with the wildlife. Therefore, we let the wildlife come and go as they please. But, our warrior guards will keep you and the wildlife safe at all times.
We aim to provide you with an authentic nature experience surrounded by wildlife.

Safari walks alongside our warrior guards
Maasai village visits
Bird watching. We have spotted over 30 different species of birds on the camp grounds.
We will be happy to organize balloon rides, meals in the bush and special celebrations.
Our Community
Il Muran Lentim eco-camp shares a happy relationship with the Maasai people. As such, we work with the local community to protect the Mara ecosystem. All of our staff members are from local Maasai community. This is our way of ensuring the community benefits from tourism from their land and wildlife.
